Short-Term Running Goals:

Run twice a day, everyother day. Build mileage to about 60 mi. per week. Find a winter marathon to run.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Find my limits at age 46/47/48...and on and on and on.

Personal:

I am very happily married to a wonderful lady. She is my biggest fan. I have two wonderful kids, 4 great step children, and two step grandsons. I teach Elementary school PE.

Rode the stationary for 15 minutes to warm up, then ran my usual out and back. I'm not using a watch or garmin. Running totally by feel.

It is good to see that you are back at it. Are you gearing up for another marathon, or is it time to re-do the summer games records for your age group? Best of luck and the "no watch" thing is probably good. I run without a watch more often than I run with one and it is more enjoyable. I can still check the clock at home but I don't like to see how slow I am running each mile.

40 min. on the bike, 2.5 mi. run. Legs are starting to feel more comfortable with running. I will eventually get back.

I had a busy day yesterday. Biked 20 mi. to school. and another 30mi. afterschool. Today did an easy 10mi. on the stationary then hit the road for and easy 2.5 Things are coming along gradually and carefully.This week-end the swimming begins.

It's been a good week for training.  392K of bike and 3 days of 2.5 mile runs. I'm feeling strong, but still being gentle with the left knee. Tomorrow will be a 2-3 hour bike with a 30 min. swim.
